           من أرض السلام إلى الرئيس ترامب.. حامل راية السلام 

سيادة الرئيس دونالد ترامب،

العالم اليوم يضجّ بالحروب والتوترات، ربما لم يشهد لها مثيلاً من قبل، والخوف يخيّم على الجميع جراء هذه الصراعات المتلاحقة.

وأنتم، يا سيادة الرئيس، قد أنشأتم "مجلس السلام"، خطوة تحسب لكم. لكن بدلاً من أن يُبنى النظام العالمي الجديد بالقوة والصراعات التي قد تنال من الاقتصاد الأمريكي والعالمي معاً، وتفتح الباب أمام بروز قوى متعددة ومتناحرة، أقترح عليكم طريقاً آخر.

فللحفاظ على صورة أمريكا كقوة عظمى، لماذا لا تكون العظمى في السلام والرخاء أيضاً؟

أنتم تملكون من الشجاعة ما يؤهلكم لدعوة القوى الكبرى في العالم - الصين وروسيا والاتحاد الأوروبي وغيرهم - إلى مؤتمر عالمي، تحت مظلة "مجلس السلام العالمي"، لمناقشة فكرة خلق عملة عالمية موحدة تُقاس على الدولار وغيره من عملات القوى العظمى الأخرى، مع إفساح المجال أمام الجميع للمشاركة في تكوين أصولهم بها، وتقاسم سلمي معقول للثروة والنفوذ مع القوى المختلفة.

مؤتمر يضع على طاولته أيضاً حظر الحروب الاقتصادية، وحظر القنابل والصواريخ والمدافع، والنظر في إمكانية حل المشكلات العالمية بالسلم بدلاً من القوة.

أدرك أن هذا المؤتمر قد يستغرق وقتاً طويلاً من التفاوض والحوار، ويمكن أن تُنشأ له مراكز في كل قارة، مع فرع للمركز في الضفة الغربية، يتبع المجلس تحت رئاستكم.

ربما يبدو هذا الاقتراح ضرباً من الخيال، لكنه في الحقيقة يهدف إلى غاية واحدة: أن تتربع أمريكا تحت رئاستكم على رأس سلام العالم أيضاً، ويعمّ السلام أرجاء المعمورة.

A Message from the Land of Peace to President Trump.. Bearer of the Banner of Peace (2)

Mr. President Donald Trump,

The world today is roiling with wars and tensions perhaps unlike anything it has witnessed before, and fear looms over everyone because of these relentless conflicts.

You, Mr. President, established the "Peace Council" — a step that stands to your credit. But instead of building the new world order through force and conflicts that could damage both the American and global economies, and open the door to the rise of multiple, warring powers, I propose another path.

To preserve America's image as a great power, why not also be the greatest in peace and prosperity?

You possess the courage to invite the world's major powers — China, Russia, the European Union, and others — to a global conference, under the umbrella of a "World Peace Council," to discuss the idea of creating a unified global currency benchmarked against the dollar and the currencies of other major powers, allowing everyone to participate in building their reserves in it, with a reasonable and peaceful sharing of wealth and influence among the different powers.

A conference that would also place on its table a ban on economic wars, and a ban on bombs, missiles, and guns, while considering the possibility of resolving global problems through peace rather than force.

I recognize this conference may take a long time of negotiation and dialogue, and centers could be established for it on every continent, with a branch of the center in the West Bank, reporting to the Council under your presidency.

Perhaps this proposal sounds like fantasy, but in truth it aims at one single goal: for America, under your leadership, to also sit at the very top of world peace — and for peace to spread across every corner of the earth.
