A Message from the Land of Peace to President Trump, Bearer of the Banner# of Peace I write to you from Egypt—the land of peace where God revealed Himself and spoke to Moses, where Joseph sought refuge, and which was visited by the Holy Family and Jesus Christ. It was from here that President Sadat waged a war for the sake of peace—a peace he successfully achieved, for peace is forged only by the strong and the brave, like Sadat. During your election campaign, you made promises, stating, "I am not here to start wars, but to end them," and you adopted the slogan "Peace through Strength." War must not be defined merely by killing, destruction, and starvation; rather, the path to peace must be realized in its finest form through courageous diplomacy that enforces justice and—through your actions and bravery—halts the bloodshed. God is the Prince of Peace, and you must be the president who bears the banner of peace, just as you promised—following the example of Sadat.
