Dr. Bahaa Helmy Writes:

The Manufacture of Terrorist Militias
The thought of the Brotherhood rests on main principles, the most prominent of which is exalting the concept of the umma and the group at the expense of the homeland and society.
And that hearing, obedience and loyalty are owed to the Guide and the organization’s leaders and cadres, and to the homeland of the organization, which does not stop at the geographical borders of the state but extends to include all the lands of the Islamic umma in God’s wide earth, in the words of one of the group’s former Guides.
Together with declaring both the existing governments and contemporary societies in Muslim lands to be unbelievers, with no objection to shedding blood to achieve the principles and goals of the organization, according to the sayings, principles and books of Sayyid Qutb and his classification of societies as societies of jahiliyya (pre-Islamic ignorance), thereby making their blood lawful.
Consequently, the Brotherhood’s distrust of governments, institutions, security forces and societies is one of the basic pillars of the creed and policies of the Brotherhood wherever they are found.
Because it is self-evident that governments and national institutions side with their peoples and societies, which the Brotherhood considers unbelief and treason, they put in place policies and mechanisms to form special groups (brothers and sisters, made up of young people), placed at the top of the Brotherhood’s priorities as soldiers to defend them and their ideology and to confront anyone who disagrees with them.
Therefore the Brotherhood organization legitimized violence and gave it a religious colouring under the name of “jihad”, with the aim of establishing an Islamic state whose borders extend to cover the corners of the earth, reviving the caliphate and applying sharia, as they claim.
Accordingly, the Brotherhood organization created arms for defence, beginning with the experiment of the Rovers, then the special jihad groups, in coordination with many terrorist groups in cooperation with the intelligence services of some states beyond the borders, to spread the call and to meet anyone who sides with peace, humanity, tolerance and respect for others with violence, throwing people from the rooftops of buildings, and killing in cold blood.
The organization set up education and training programmes to entrench loyalty, hearing and obedience in the minds of the members of these groups, and for new members to take the oath of loyalty and allegiance on the emblem – which carries within it swords and signs of strength – to work to achieve the aims of the Brotherhood organization and the umma without discussion or hesitation.
From here the idea of forming armed militias under various names crystallized, following the example of the Special Apparatus, which planned and carried out many assassination attempts in Egypt.
Nor is it hidden from anyone that the Brotherhood tried to create private militias and carried out some training programmes in the youth camps at Abu Qir in Alexandria and other sites under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and its Brotherhood minister during their period of rule, who openly admitted this.
But the security services were watching and following closely, at a time when the Egyptian people declared their rejection of the Brotherhood, their administration, their leadership, their policies and the methods of violence and intimidation they followed, to no avail.
It is striking how closely the ideas of the Brotherhood organization match those of the Iranian regime and Erdoğan’s regime, in terms of the manufacture of militias, thought and goals.
The creation of the Revolutionary Guard in Iran coincided with the financing of the terrorist organization and support for terrorist groups at the beginning of the eighties of the last century, and in the past few weeks Erdoğan has set about establishing armed night watchmen as a militia parallel to the security forces, run by his party and entirely under its control..
In light of what he has gained from Turkey’s experiences and the involvement of its regime in forming and supporting terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq, backed by Qatar, and sending militias to Libya..
It is not strange for the Turkish regime to show this interest in, and belonging to, the ideology of violence, treason and deception.. leaving its people and its economy on the road to decline and collapse.
It is truly an ideology, a thought and an industry whose fate will be failure and downfall, because it is a corrupt industry.
