«Central Security»: 5 Units Taking Part in Peacekeeping in Darfur

Maj. Gen. Bahaa Helmy, Director General of the General Secretariat of the Central Security Forces, said that 5 units of the Central Security Forces are taking part in peacekeeping in Darfur to protect civilians. In a phone interview with TV presenter Iman Ezz El-Din, host of the program «Besaraha» on «Al-Tahrir» channel, on Tuesday evening, Helmy denied that sending peacekeeping forces has any negative effect on security in Egypt. He noted that all the officers in the Central Security units speak more than one language.
